Bio/backstory: Milos Kolov Volorn was born circa 1260 B.C.E. (“Vanished Lands” time) to a successful merchant family in the world of [Ted A.H.’s D&D3.0] “Solar Gods: Ether Wars.” Thanks to travels with his family, the young human showed an early aptitude for languages and negotiation.

As an adolescent, Milos developed skills that could have led him to a life of petty crime, but he was instead recruited by the Imperial Academy. Milos was trained in alchemy, infiltration, and dimensional travel to preempt potential threats to the realm.

When the “Liberators,” an adventuring party from a nearby Prime Material Plane, visited his homeworld in 1233 [ 2001 ], Milos was assigned to accompany and observe them. He eventually returned with that group to the “Vanished Lands” as it raced Orcish warlords to retrieve the Axe of the Dwarvish Lords and discovered the lost city of Eagle’s Rest near Dosh Kar.

When that team disbanded, Milos had only sporadic contact with his handlers back in the Star Empire. The Rogue also sensed that the Imperial Academy’s intentions might be less than fully honorable, so he “went native” and stayed in Hesolin, the capital of the human kingdom of Hifalendor.

In 1232, Milos joined the crew of the privateer carrack Dragon’s Bane as it conducted diplomacy, fought dragons and Undead pirates, and explored the Sea of Nagendwa. Members of that [D&D3.5] party also helped destroy the Flying Citadel, establish the Gargoyle Headlands and the House of Xia, and slay the gold dracolich Daneira in the barbaric port of Gisar [2002 to 2004].

In 1231, Milos began building an espionage network in sites around the western Sea of Nagendwa. He trained followers and created safe houses in Hesolin; Falit, capital of the Ebir Sheikdom; and the open port of Laguro on Bokor Island. Milos’ agents watched black dragons Artaxis and Zineida, “Capt. Jack Kildare’s” [Randy K.M./N.P.C.] Ghost Fleet, and other threats.

Around 1230 [2007 to 2008, Pathfinder ], Milos traveled with “Holy Steel” on its mission to the distant empire of Khemet [New Kingdom Egypt] to help Paladin “Ibrahim” [Byron V.O.] in his quests to clear his name and defend Pharaoh Ramses II. They also ventured into the Outer Planes to rescue Drow Ranger “Faelonia” [Dexter V.H.].

“Holy Steel” eventually returned to the “Vanished Lands,” and Milos later met members of the [D&D3.5] “Seekers of Lore,” the “Broken Chains” and the Order of the Golden Lion [also FATE 3e Legends of Anglerre ], the [D&D4e] “Faith-Based Initiative,” and the [ Pathfinder /Skype] “Uncommon Companions.”

In spring of 1227 [ 2014 ], members of “Vistel’s Circus” visited the Zarendo Islands, partly to consult “Valoren” on dimensional travel. Meanwhile, to the east, another band began traveling [“A New Dawn,” Basic Fantasy RPG ]….
