Tarwen and her sister Anarra were born into a small Avariel community high in the northwestern Ivory Mountains. She was trained as a fierce scout for her people, and her restlessness eventually led her toward Alfhileno, capital of the Waletku kingdom of the Elves. In the Wisalef Forest, she likes to help people in need, but she has no need for glory.

In late spring of 1227 B.C.E., the young warrior joined “Vistel’s Expedition” as that band of adventurers dealt with the mysterious Vappu Lahja, who had stirred up Centaurs and Unseelie Fey on the Plains of Sathendo….
